What remains human
when identity itself becomes artificial?
Bodies flicker between reality and simulation.
Voices fracture. Faces dissolve.
The machine watches, learns, imitates.
And somewhere beneath the endless stream of images, data and desire, the human body still breathes.
DEEP FAKE: Ghost in the Machine is a new international dance-theatre work exploring identity, artificial intelligence, digital intimacy, and the unstable boundary between the real and the synthetic.
Created by choreographer Rosie Kay and Japanese composer Nakamura Hiroyuki, the work combines contemporary dance, generative visuals, electronic music, cinematic staging and live performance to create a haunting portrait of humanity in the algorithmic age.
